Every House to Home project follows one clear, guided design-build process, from our first conversation to the final walkthrough. Here's exactly what working with us looks like, so you always know what comes next.

Our Process: 

1. Discovery

Complimentary in-home consultation; goals, style, and investment range; personalized project summary with a projected price range.


2. Phase 1: Design & Planning

  • Design and pre-construction deposit
  • Site measurements and design questionnaire (clients get a copy of their answers and can revise them)
  • CAD plan development
  • Floor plan review, typically over Teams
  • Phase 1 estimate: construction costs, material allowances, trade partner price points, and structural notes
  • Phase 1 approval: refine scope, and explore financing if needed

 

3. Phase 2: Design & Pre-Construction

  • Full material selections
  • Construction documents and checklists
  • Engineering, if needed
  • Permits and city requirements (ABR review, zoning, variances)
  • Contract signing: final pricing, payment schedule, change order process, and projected start date
  • Ordering of long-lead materials
  • Pre-construction meeting on-site about one week before start, with the homeowner, PM, and designer

  • The PM is the main point of contact
  • Crew onsite daily
  • Weekly check-ins
  • Buildertrend portal
  • Brian and Jacky involved on and off site

Punch list, final sign-off walkthrough, professional photography, and a close-out package with warranty information.
